Cool theme :) The brown didn't really do it for me-- when I think of a peacock I think of the gorgeous greens and blues. Have you thought about bridesmaid bouquets? That could be a great place to incorporate a peacock feather. You might want to check out "My Fair Wedding" with David Tutera-- there is an episode on Netflix (I believe I watched it last month!) that is all peacocks. I know he's totally over the top, but you might be able to snag a few fun ideas from him about incorporating the theme without being too literal. Good luck!!
@hellsbells2949: I just helped with a peacock wedding it was beautiful!! Also they are now for sale !
Ooh sorry I didn't see this thread when it started a month ago! I'm having the same issues. Trying to keep it classy. I'm sticking some feathers in with florals of colors that I'm trying to pull from the feathers. I'm not afraid of the brown and gold, just keeping that to a minimum. I'm really playing up the jewel toned purple. My sister and MOH makes fun of me because I keep saying I want "dank" colors and she's not really sure what I mean by that. Here's my inspiration photo.
I'm doing a peacock wedding (but focusing on dark teal/blue/purple), but you could easily throw in green with a lot of my stuff. I'm also avoiding over-use of feathers to keep it classy. I'll post a little bit of the things we've done, but I'll if you'd like, I'll be sure to PM you when we do recaps in a few weeks/month so you can check out what you like or could use from our wedding.
My bouquet
Our invites (or a peek at them, anyway)

Glitter soles!
Place cards (the generic versions, didn't want to post real guest names online)
WOW NDBEE!
i love the photos, they are beautiful!
i love the jewels in your bouquet, i wouldnt have ever thought of that!
i would love to see more or your ideas, if you dont mind, my wedding is still so far away so i dont have much to share in return, but i would definately love to see what else you are including!
Thanks so much!
ps, glitter soles = genius!
I was going to have teal, silver and black colors but you have given me some great new ideas.
@hellsbells2949: For sure! Glad to help :-) And no worries, I'm done taking ideas, my to-do list is already way too long for the 6 days we have left! Haha. I'll make note to PM you the links to our recaps when we post. I'll probably do a few teasers soon after and then the fuller pro recaps when we get those back. Hope you can find some ideas you like from there.
@nycsa: That color combo sounds gorgeous! There are so many pretty, rich jewel tones in the peacock scheme that it's hard to hold back.
Brilliant! Thank you so much! just give me a link on how to find them, coz im stil trying to find my way through this site!
6 days!? good luck and enjoy!!
@nycsa: It's such a nice, deep base color, and not 'girly' so it tied well into both the guys' and gals' stuff. Helped the look come together really well, for us, at least.
@hellsbells2949: For sure! I'll just copy and paste the URL right into the message I send you. (You can check your messages in the upper right corner, by your sign in name.) Thanks, I need the luck, but I know I'll enjoy :-)
All I've got to say is I almost changed my entire wedding theme when I saw these today! GORGEOUS!!

It's an eccentric wedding in the Jacksonville Zoo. I absolutely fell in love with the flower bouquet.

Hi Guys,
I am hoping to have a peacock themed wedding but i would like to focus on the green of the peacock feather, i was really confident with my colour choice but now i am starting to doubt myself. this is the kind of colour i wanted my bridesmaids to wear:
http://www.jaksflowergirldresses.com/BD3743.htm
do you think it would be better to incorporate a brown in with it or a blue? or a purple? or is the green and white enough?
i also think im going a bit over board with peacock feathers, how many did/will you guys be using?
for my centre pieces i originally just wanted a tall thin glass vase with a single peacock feather and a lilly in it, but now im thinking maybe i should have something a little bit more, but i dont know what!
i think i just need a little reassurance, i soooo want to have this theme but i want it to look elegant, and im doubting myself in being able to do it!
Any help or advice would be really useful,
Thanks!!
