Weddingbee boards

My theme is peacocks. They are my favorite animal and i find them to be very majestic.  Since my wedding is in Christmas time (December 16, 2011) I decided to incorporate peacocks AND Christmas into my theme.  I am so excited to see the end result.

My bouquet is going to have pine cones, thistle, peacock feathers, and even small ornaments in it.  The colors will be teal, aqua, and a lime green.  I am incorporating a gold into my theme to match the gold around the eye of the peacock feather.

This is a little inspiration for my color scheme, however I am adding gold rather than silver.  Also, since its a Winter/Evening wedding, i am going to go a little less bright in the aqua.

I know a lot of people who go with a peacock theme add purple or a cobalt blue, but with my bridesmaids dresses and my vision, this is what i decided to go with.  

My bridesmaids dresses are below. The color they will be in is teal.  It's almost the exact color of the teal ornaments in the above picture.  i am going with a dress like this because it looks good on all body types and I wanted a long dress in case it's cold out.

I am having a hard time with my hair though...chosing between a traditional veil or a birdcage with a peacock feather in it.

@CorgiTales: I am actually thinking of adding a PINCH of purple into the centerpieces just to give it a little pizazz.  Not every centerpiece but maybe a few.
