I found a necklace similar to that minus the metal flower at a department store. Have you looked at your local mall? You may have better luck. Unless you want real pearls....then I would look at a jewler
Are you looking for just a single drop pearl necklace or multiple pearls???
I am trying to avoid wearing a single drop pearl because that is the kind of necklace my MOH will probably be wearing. I am imagining something with more oomph because my dress is so simple, so definitely multiple pearls, either single strand or multiple strands, but not the traditional simple-string look.
What about something like this?
Try doing a google image search using words like "modern", "unique", "elegant" etc infront of pearl necklace and see what you come up with. I usually get my best finds that way
The store called "luxedeluxe" on Etsy makes that necklace, exactly. (as do a couple other Etsy-ites). here's a link:

you could also easily make that necklace yourself. just hit up micheals and you could get everything in the exact style your looking for
PS: there's another Etsy store called "lizix26" that makes the necklace you posted, as well -- but at half to a third of the cost of luxedeluxe. see some of lizix26's other necklaces here:

I don't have any helpful suggestions, but I have to say thank you to the girls who posted the two etsy links! They are GORGEOUS! Bf was looking to get me something for our 1 year, and they are perfect!
You should go into the "Alchemy" on Etsy....then you can request what you are looking for...and put down the price you would like to stick around....sellers will bid for request and make you something amazing!

I am going to be wearing a simple-ish strapless dress for my wedding and would love the classic look of a pearl necklace, but with some kind of statement-twist. I have scoped out etsy and have yet to find anything that I like. Does anyone have any good recommendations for places to find non-traditional pearl necklaces? I am looking for something more than just multiple strands or floating pearls.
