I plan on getting married there and I am using speakers and mic. If u google weddings at brooklyn bridge park u see all the set ups. Also i cant believe the price for the permit jumped from $25 to $425 ugh
I went to a wedding ceremony at Pebble Beach/Brooklyn Bridge park last summer. The couple did not have a sound system, they spoke maybe a little louder than normal, and everyone heard them just fine. But they did not linger, they exchanged vows and the nessesary words and then everything else was at the reception at Bubby's
I'm also getting married in Brooklyn Bridge Park (Pier 1) and am wondering the same thing. I was thinking of using a small, unobstrusive mic and speaker system but am nervous because of the rule. bkpinkbride, were you able to get permission or are you just gonna do it. I wonder how bad the risk is?
