I looked all the time!!!  I know you generally are supposed to be surprise with your gifts but my reasoning is how would I edit my registry without looking?  I needed to make sure everything I wanted was still available! πŸ™‚

We are having a party this Friday and lots of people have asked where we are registered/what we want and there is still nothing purchased off our list.  I SO cannot help from peeking!

I think it’s fine to peek! You have to make sure your registry is well stocked as people buy things. πŸ™‚

I don’t peek because I love surprises. But my FI is *totally* registry stalking and he keeps informing me of things that show up “purchased” on the registry. I keep telling him that I don’t want to know, but he gets so excited he can’t help himself!

Although, I admit, I am excited to hear that someone got us the awesome grind & brew coffeemaker!

I registry stalk, and enjoy trying to guess who may have purchased what. BUT, other than FI, I would never tell anyone! When I was single I never would have considered that brides would know in advance what had been purchased, and I wouldn’t want to make anybody feel uncomfortable that i have been looking πŸ™‚

FILs are having a big reception for us a week after we get married when we return from the honeymoon. So I have a feeling we will be getting online the week before the wedding to add to our registry, just to be safe.

I totally peek. FI peeks too. Plus, PotteryBarn shows you who bought what & their address so you can write a Thank You right away. Whenever FI discovers it – he gets to write the thankyou. LOL πŸ™‚

I also stalk registries of people I know to see if anything’s gone off theirs too.

I check my registries all the time! I guess it could be like “peeking” but I did that when I was a kid at Christmas too! Oh well.. I guess I’m not that proper LOL

I looked all the time!  I figured this was different from Christmas because we selected the gifts.  It wasn’t a true surprise when we got the things we registered for anyway.

I peeked all the time.  I don’t think there is any rule that you’re not supposed to check your registry; like Jessie said, you already know what is on there, so it’s not as if most of the gifts will be a huge surprise anyways.

i look pretty much every day. i tell myself that i’m checking to make sure things didn’t go out of stock, as i’m registered at target and apparently that happens often there. but i don’t have that excuse when i’m looking at bb&b. it wont be a surprise anyway, i already know what i’m registered for. but it will still be a surprise who got me what.
