Hey there, I have three different bridesmaids, they are all wearing blush colored Badgley Miscka (sp?) dresses which can be seen here https://www.renttherunway.com/shop/designers/badgleymischka_dresses/glitzgown. I am doing DIY silk flowers and I have already put together two bouquets, one of blush and cream roses and the other of blush and cream peonies. At my reception, I am having blush orchids, peonies and roses, with perhaps a little lilly of the valley. I want to have a flower that would match with the roses and the peonies that comes in pink. I was thinking Hydrangea or Cahlas, please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Are you doing DIY silk, for the centerpieces? The only reason why I’m asking is because my daughter is getting married, at the end of August, and her florist said peonies are out of season then, and therefore, $35 a stem. Her centerpieces are all white: hydrangea (large – take up a lot of room), carnations, and roses (the lessexpensive kind, that are large, when half open). Orchids are $$ and reserved for the bride’s bouquet and mom/grandmother flowers.

Ranunculus (sp?) are great too and look nice with roses & peonies. In my opinion though, blush/pink flowers are too romantic & soft to go with a glitzy dress like that (which is gorgeous by the way). I think bold pinks would look much more stricking and glamorous.

PAbride, yes, Michaels in my florist, so all the flowers are silk/real touch 🙂
Citybearbride: Thanks for the advice! I will check out the ranncculous! And maybe I will check out some darker pinks as well.

Since they are silk anyway, what about spray painting two or three per bouquet gold? That would be a nice pop.
