I really don’t think this is the place to try to convert Jewish Bees.

They believe in him as an individual; they just don’t believe he was the son of God.

@marinewife4:  If I were upset, I could still comment. You are not the one to police this forum.

Jesus did not free Jews from slavery. Are you thinking of Moses? That was long before Jesus’ time and in a different land.

However, the Jewish people were not governing their own land, as they lived in a place run by the Romans. Far different from slavery, but they did not have their own government, which is of course not ideal to them.

@marinewife4:  he’s not Santa. Jews believe he existed, just not that he was a prophet.

Moses, not Jesus, freed the Jews, speaking in very simple terms.

That said, I don’t see this topic ending well.

you’re not looking to start a ruckus, are you?

Jesus is a historical figure. He was also a Jew. Most Jews today certainly acknowledge Jesus (and Jesus is mentioned in the Qu’ran as a prophet and a great man), but they do not believe Jesus is divine or the son of God. That’s all.

As far as I know, they see him as a biblical figure but not the Messiah. According to the Jews, the Messiah has not yet returned and they don’t know who it is.
