We did!! Twice!!
I used custom horseshoe stamps for our rehearsal dinner invitation. We did a Western themed BBQ, and my invitation had a horseshoe on it. So, I used horseshoe stamps from Zazzle. I loved them!
And then for our postcard reply card in our invitation suite I used moose stamps because the name of our venue was Lazy Moose. Unfortunately, the price of postage would be going up 1 cent after we mailed our invites, so we had to add a 1 cent stamp too. The lamp still pisses me off! :)

We used custom postage from Zazzel with an engagement picture on it...and people LOVE it! I wish I had a pic of it on this computer but I don't :( I'll try to upload it sometime when I'm on the other comp.
But I also agree, totally worth it, a cheap way to really personalize!
Ahh! Are they on sale for face value?!!! We used the peacock that is my avatar for our engagement party thank you notes, and want to use them for all our wedding stationary too, but don't *really* want to pay the upcharge... Maybe this means I shuold bite the bullet and order them now!
i get the zazzle emails, if you have a while sign up for them. they are annoying but it turned out to be worth it, and everything I have ordered from them has always looked great!

This was one of our splurge items. We couldn't resist. I'm glad we got them.
The "Halloween Wedding" ones we put on the main invite and the skeletons we put on our RSVP envelopes.

We're definitely going to do custom postage, just haven't settled on which site to buy them from yet. The USPS does them too, by the way. I'm going to sign up for Zazzle's emails if they do this face-value sale often!
For the people whose guests loved the custom stamps: Did people love them if the stamp had a photo of you and your FI, or did they love any stamps that had your name or whatnot on them? I'm thinking about a dahlia with our names and wedding date on it for our stamp, but then I think how much Grandma would love it if our faces were on it. Don't know yet!
I didn't know they had face value stamps?! I may get some if i catch them on sale.
Ooh I love these! Canada Post does them for us Canucks, but they're nearly twice as much as a regular stamp!
Aw shucks I wish I wouldve!! We just got the traditional wedding postage you can get at the post office.
@littlestbirds- we had us on them, and that was what they loved!
@bakerella- i tried to order the canadian ones because about 1/2 our invites went to calgary but the site didn't work. so they had custom on the outside and nothing on the rsvp! (those olympics stamps are super ugly!)
Oh, awesome. Even if the emails are annoying, it's worth it for those savings! I think I would feel weird putting myself on them though. I feel that's a right reserved for the likes of MLK Jr and Mother Teresa.
Haha @Birdtobe, now I'm picturing someone receiving an invitation with our photo on the stamp thinking "Who does she think she is, Mother Teresa?!"
(I don't think anyone would actually think that.)
lol @littlestbirds I don't think anyone would ACTUALLY think that either, but this whole wedding planning thing has me second guessing and overthinking to the max!
Hooray! I thought I was the only one who was obsessed with our custom STD stamp!
We are getting married in Napa, but we live in Guam at the moment and the postmarks will be from Guam. I figured we needed something "island-y" and almost fell off my chair when I found this graphic. :)

We ordered custom postage on zazzle because it was on sale for face value, and people LOVE it! Everyone tells me it was the coolest part of the invite! I highly reccomend it. We used one of our e-pics!
