Hi All!

Did anyone else get a message from people magazine that they are looking for fall brides who want to lose weight? Anyone know if it's a scam?

I got it too and googled the reporter as well as the name of the two editors she mentioned. All three people came up on the People.com website so I think they are legit??

I think it's legit...I googled too :) and would love to go for it and slim down before the wedding and all, but didn't the message say something about losing 50 pounds or more?? Or did I just make that up? Of course I deleted it :P

I went for it! /shrug.

I did the google thing and found articles written for a dallas newspaper with her email address on it.. plus she didnt ask me for anything super personal so if it is a scam all she is getting from it is my first name and how I met my fiance..

I got contacted! However i didnt get picked. They said i was a finalist. WHATEEEVER... said if anyone decides not to do it they will contact me... BOO

I emailed her..but never heard back. I only want to lose 30 pounds though so I guess I didn't fit the bill. It would be cool if a fellow bee got picked huh? ;)
