So this one might get a little complicated but my friend was making fun of me for all my planning up to this point. He pointed out I’ve spent 16 months getting ready for something that lasts 6 hours. So it got me thinking about the cost per hour between planning (the hard part) and the wedding (the fun part).
TOTAL COST OF WEDDING / number of hours of wedding + reception = Cost per hour day of.
TOTAL COST OF WEDDING /(number of days engaged * 8 hours per day) = Cost per hour during planning.
I’m at: $4166.67 per hour day of and $6.04 per hour during planning.
