so far we have 3/4 of our invites in (our deadline is up...so we're just waiting for the rest to trickle in before we start the long list of phone calls).
of that, we have 3/4 yes, and 1/4 no...
so the remainning 1/4 that haven't rsvp...we'll see. :)
We are still a few weeks away from our RSVP deadline, and we invited 176. So far, about 55 are a yes, 25 are a no. I think we'll end up with a little over 2/3 of the invited guests coming.
The hostess at our church (who is our offical wedding contact person and does ALOT of weddings) told me that the general rule is around 50-75%. I know for our wedding, it is on a Saturday morning and kids are included-many people told me that they would be coming bc children were included and it was at that time of day-didn't necessitate getting a sitter, left the day free to do other things, etc.

As we get ready to send our save the dates, I am wondering for those of you who are married and did not do a destination wedding, what percent of the guests you invited actually came to your wedding?
