I’ve seen a beautiful deep eggplant purple pulled off for a winter wedding and it was lovely. They had a lot of champagne/cream accents, deep purple flowers (I think hydrangeas or roses) and the deep green leaves made it absolutely gorgeous. Perhaps something like this:

I have a champagne colored wedding dress as well. My bouquet will have blush colored roses, ivory hydrangea, and white peonies. It will also have some green ivy mixed in. I had trouble figuring out what to have in my bouquet initially as well. With a champagne colored dress, I don’t think bright flower colors are the way to go, personally. Which is why I opted for muted, softer colors.

I call my dress gold, but my flowergirl dresses were champagne and matched mine pretty perfectly, so it’s all a matter of opinion.

Anyway, I had a deep red bouquet.

My bouquet is made up of hand dyed sola flowers that are orange, green, gold, cream, and burgundy.  They look beautiful with my champagne dress.  Of course, I’m getting married in the fall so I went with fall colors for the flowers.  🙂
