@leahthehun:  I am insured through them.  I like them so far but haven’t had to file a claim as of yet.  I know they cover accidental loss and such.  I’m curious to know the steps if anyone else has filed a claim as well.

I’m insured with them but no claims so nothing to report but I like the price!

Mine is added on my homeowners policy. It was a lot cheaper than the policy offered by the jeweler, who made my ring.

I’m insured with them but no claims yet. They’ve been great to deal with so far though everything was easy to set up and the cost was less than adding it to my renters insurance.

I’m using them as well, but also no claims so far. My rings are both from MoissaniteCo, and their official recommendation is Jewelers Mutual, so I feel pretty comfortable with my decision.

@leahthehun:  yep! Cheaper then homeowners policy and recommended from my jeweler. Happy with them so far but haven’t needed to file a claim.

I am insured with them, but no claims either.  I know someone that lost her ring in a restaurant though.  She has insurance with them too.  She had taken the ring off to eat and it got thrown away.  They pricessed her claimn no problem, but did get statements from  the restaurant staff etc.  So they take claims pretty seriously, but they did work with her and a jewler to replace her ring.  🙂

I have been with them, and they are great.  I did file a claim when my home was robbed, and my homeowners insurance did not cover the full value of all of the jewelery taken.  Luckily my most expensive piece had the separate coverage.  They were very easy to work with.  I chose my own jeweler to work with on the replacement.  They issued payment to the jeweler directly after I signed off on receiving the new ring.  Yes, I recommend them.

Unfortunately the jeweler I chose did NOT tell me that I could shop with the value of the coverage – that I did not need to go with recreating the ring that was stolen.

That recreation was a bad bad experience thanks to the jeweler.  Here is my 1.07ct marquise over .15ct princess stones.  My original RHR did not have a gold bezel under the main stone, but this one needed it for stability.

Hellish88:

You can shop with the value of the coverage?  Does that mean that you could have replaced the stolen ring with a ring that was completely different in style?

Do you happen to know if Perfect Circle explains this anywhere on their website?  I was looking through the website and all I saw was that they would “replace” the insured piece.

Mokara:  Check out the sample policy thing on the site. It says something about putting the money towards an upgrade or something.

Thanks!  I can’t find it, but I’ll try again later with a fresh pair of eyes.
