I googled "round balloons" and a bunch of sites popped up that actually had round balloons (and not just regular balloons). It seems like they're more expensive than regular balloons though, although they're bigger (3' diameter).
Here's one site: http://www.richardsballoons.com/plain.html
That's too funny, because I certainly googled them before I posted this and didn't see anything
! Thanks for the link!!
I have purchased 2 bags of perfectly round balloons in Hot Pink and Lime Green. They come 72 balloons to a bag and I will not be needing that many. They are 17" Jumbo Round a perfect for any reception or party. You can contact me at karenam.blount@gmail.com
We're using them! I'll find out where my florist got them from - they're the same ones from a Martha photoshoot. She knows someone who works there and got us the exact same ones! :-)

We used the 36" ones from bargainballoons.com.

@mkendrick: Thanks so much!!! Those are perfect and the prices are good compared to a few other sites I found. Somewhere I saw the same balloons 5 for $36! That is way overpriced compared to $9 for 6.
You can find the huge round balloons (36") here: http://brilliantbash.com/
LOVE them!

How long did the balloons stay inflated? I want to use them for my reception and don't want them to deflate during the night...
do you go to party city or somewhere to get these inflated? I think it would be cute to have them for our first look and pre-ceremony shots!
You can get the balloons inflated at any party store or dollar store for a very inexpensive price - just a few dollars for a bunch. :)
@chrissyela: If you inflate the balloons on the morning of your wedding, they will last until very late the same night without any noticable deflation. I hope that helps! :)
Partycity sells them online:

ugh I am with you on that one @emilia
ugh I hate it when i do that!
I love the really round balloons ... has anyone used these for their reception or do brides use these just for photos?
Would love to hear from experience :-)
Look at this photo for using balloons.. interesting!

love! I will use these to keep up the UP PIxar subtle theme in our vintage wedding.
I am planning on having a huge amount of balloons like the photo above and was thinking about mixing some heart shaped ones in the mix for some of our wedding pictures. The question is, how in the world do you transport such huge balloons to where you are getting the photos done?!
@His_Swallow: Buy one of those little party time helium tanks from Walmart or whatever (I found them cheapest at Walmart, $30 I believe) and blow them up onsite. I think we got about 6 balloons out of a tank... I also blew up heart shaped ones, but honestly, they don't look super heart shaped once their blown up and we nixed it, LOL!
I just bought some, with priority shipping for my wedding on Saturday (today is Thursday) and they are shipping them right away:

Customer service was great, (party city was charging me over $30 to shipped them next day, ugggh)
I got pink and white, I'll show you pictures once I have some!
Does anyone know if the 17" round balloons are actually round like the 30" or 36" ones are? I would like to have mostly 17" to decorate the tent for the reception with some larger balloons mixed in, but some sites I've visited have said that the 17" round balloons are less balloon shaped than standard balloons, but are not perfect spheres like the larger. Any experience with the smaller ones?
36 inch round balloons work best and most sites sell for $4-$8 each and I found them for under $3 each!!!

plus try the qualax (main supplier) website because they list every store & website they sell too so you!!!
I used to work in a store that did helium balloon orders for parties, so I thought I'd add in a general FYI about balloon staying power for anybody who's interested.
Helium balloons will typically look their best for about 24 hours. However, temperature changes will have a big effect on them, so keep in that in mind for both transportation and where they will end up. If they are in a cooler environment they will shrink and look like they're slightly deflated, and if they are going to end up in the sun, near heaters, etc., or be transported in a hot car,, then you want to be sure not to over-inflate so they have some flexibility left in them to expand. If they go back and forth through enough temperature changes, they will start to look dull and tired, so try and keep their environment as consistent as you can.
If you really want to make sure they stay looking great for the whole day, there's a product called Hi-Float that retails for around $16 a bottle and is available online. You fit the uninflated balloon all the way over the nozzle, and pump in a pea-sized amount of it (or slightly more, depending on the size of the balloon, but be sure not to overdo it). Squish it around until the inside of the balloon is fully coated. This will help seal the inside of the balloon when you inflate it and stop the air from escaping as quickly. Customers told us their balloons stayed picture perfect for up to a week with this stuff!
Oh, this is really helpful. I want to do the big 36" balloons illuminated with white light (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=balloon+lights&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=HZJ&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&prmd=ivns&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=994&bih=569&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=9162092824374815705&sa=X&ei=jIYdTs7KGsedgQef3eTLCQ&ved=0CJUBEPMCMAk) on the ourtoor patio for our evening reception. I think it will look great with the lighting that we're doing inside the venue. One on every high-top cocktail table. Then maybe at the end of the night we'll do a release as a finale.
@rittenhouselovers: Thanks I too searched Google for this. Dinodirect is very expensive so I don't recommend that at all. What have you found to be the best price for those big 36's balloons? This site, Round Balloons says its around $3 a pop...is that competitive or is there a better rate elsewhere? Thanks!
I'm not sure if someone mentioned this yet, but I believe Michael's just started selling them in a few colors as well!
