Weddingbee boards

 I'm Persian, we had a Persian/Indian wedding in Chicago just a few months ago, but we kept it secular. I guess I'm confused over what a Persian officiant is, do you want someone who does it in Farsi?  A Persian wedding typically is muslim, and in that case, any muslim officiant will do. However, if you're just talking about the traditional stuff, like the Sofreh Aghd, and the Ghand stuff, you can just have a family member do it, which is what we did. Seriously though, finding stuff for an Iranian wedding in Chicago is tough, we ended up having relatives from Iran sending over some of the more traditional items. Best of Luck!
