I’m after a custom stamp for our invitations.
It will need to be in Lavandaria font & cover the space of approx 50mm x 50 mm.
Has anyone got any recommended vendors?? (ebay & etsy are overwhelming!)
Many thanks in advance!

@Nic01: I purchased a custom stamp from loongchai74 on eBay. He was very easy to work with and was BY FAR the cheapest seller I could find. You can send him a message and let him know what you want. He will send you a proof and will edit until it is exactly how you want it. The only drawback is that he is located in a foreign country, so the stamp takes a little while to ship.

@Nic01: I got a few custom stamps from http://www.rubberstamps.net/
they were reasonably priced and good quality.

I have contacted him again this morning, hoping he will come through!

We ordered one from here http://www.etsy.com/shop/mycustomstamps
He sent us an electronic proof that he allowed us to modify and we love it! We used it for all of our return addresses for wedding mailings.

@Chizzy: i’ve checked & they aren’t big enough. It also only allows 2 lines worth of writing, where i’m looking at something ‘pretty’ for the front of the invite.
The etsy seller above has responded –
What are you thoughts on sizez – the front of the inner envelope is 150×150
the stamp is currently set to be 50 x44
would that be ok? i have no eye for design :/

We got the 1.5 by 1.5 in stamp. It worked perfectly for our outer envelopes, we simply stamped the back instead of the front upper corner. Our envelopes were 5.25 in by 7.25 in. We’ve also used the stamp on all of our thank you cards, whose envelopes were much smaller and it still looked great. Good luck!

I bought a general stamp from Staples, and although it wasn’t fancy, it did the job.
Btw, I used my stamp this weekend for my invitations and response cards. Make sure you practice quite a bit before stamping your envelopes and don’t get cheap ink. Most of my stamps came out well, but there are a few where the stamp itself wasn’t inked enough and it didn’t look as nice as I would have hoped. Live and learn!

We went through Clever Thursday on Etsy. The seller was very accommodating with the fonts we wanted. The size was perfect. We used it both on our RSVP envelopes and on our outer envelopes. Her communication was super fast and the item arrived quickly also. Funny thing is, my cousin also got me a stamp from the same shop to use for thank you’s after the wedding. And she didn’t know this is where we got our stamp for invitations (invitation/RSVP stamp uses our first names only. The new stamp we got has my future last name).
