So our wedding theme is afternoon tea! We are having high tea for our meal and we are giving away tea cups with some tea bags. Our thought was to have tea bags that said “let love brew” and looked like this…
Now we are also doing personalized to go cup sleeves and I wasn’t sure if I should follow the tea bag trend and have them also say, let love brew, or if they should said our names and “the perfect blend” or if they should just look like this…
I really like the look of this last picture, but I also like the idea of carrying on the theme “let love brew” and I also love “the perfect blend”
what do you think!?

Wilson2Bee: Either, or, will be fine.
Are you having tea, scones, sandwiches etc or are you serving an evening meal with tea?
When it started, afternoon tea was only enjoyed by the rich. The working class had to wait until they got home after work for tea.
The addition of High is believed to differentiate between the Afternoon Tea served on low, comfortable, parlour chairs or relaxing in the garden and the worker’s High Tea served at the table and seated on high back dining chairs.

We are getting it catered by this wonderful place that serves high tea, scones and Devonshire cream, sandwiches, wraps, danties, fruit, and it comes with such a wide variety of tea! It’s amazing, I ate there last week… Here’s some pics of high tea..
Imagine this x 100 people it will be huge and beautiful! They are also doing our wedding cake which will be cupcakes and a cutting cake, they make incredible cupcakes!
My FIs family is English and we both share a fondness for tea so we thought high tea would be quite a nice idea. We are also only having our reception til 430 so afternoon tea seemed fitting! 🙂

Wilson2Bee: It looks delicious. If FI’s family is English they will know it as afternoon tea, not high tea. It is commonly incorrectly referred to as high tea.

I would say either of those lovely sayings, without your names and dates.
