if you have extra money and want some personal touches go for it. But my personal opinion is the money could be placed into your honeymoon or somethng more important.

I voted “maybe”. They are on my list of purchases to make but if I can’t find what I’m envisioning on the cheap then I’m going to nix the idea. I don’t think anyone will miss them.

Nobody really notices, but like the other poster commented, it is a personal touch. If I were you though, I would put that extra money into another area of the wedding.

Like PP, if you have extra money and you REALLY want some personal touches, then go for it. Otherwise, save your money.

Personally, I’ve tossed the idea around in my head, but will probably not be getting them.

I made my own. We just bought napkins and I used a stamp on them. People did notice them and comment on them, but I don’t think it’s a big deal not to have them, and I wouldn’t spend a lot on them.

I personally think it is a waste of money when 99.9% of your guests will just toss the napkins anyway. If you have the extra money and want to do it go for it. For us I just can’t justify spending that much more on something that no one will really notice and will get tossed anyway.

I also voted Maybe because I also think nobody will miss them. That is becoming our mantra on saying “no” to things we want when they are outside of our budget. People might think it’s a nice touch if you have them, but no will will wonder “Where are the personalized napkins?” if you opt not to do them!

I voted maybe – we did them and I thought they were really cute, but they just get used and tossed! There is only one picture of our napkins (and its a guest photo) so it wasnt that worth it but they werent expensive either

According to my mom… you HAVE to have personalized napkins. Apparently it’s not a wedding without them. I hope she’ll be paying for them 🙂

I wanted to get them but my FI says they are pointless and no one will notice. I would notice things but only because I have great eye for details , however, I guess its just a napkin for most people.

I got a great deal on them! I got about 400 and we plan to use them for the passed apps in the first hour and then switch to regular cocktail napkins.

I think people (well some) will notice them at first, but then after the first or second wont notice them at all and probably wont notice we switched to the plain ones.
