Just in case you don't find exactly what you're looking for, I did something similar DIY. If you purchase clear alphabet stamps and a clear acrylic block, you can lay out your names as a stamp. Then stamp onto blank notecards and use embossing powder and a heat gun to give the effect of thermography. It's time consuming, but you would absolutely be within budget. Here's a link to the kind of stamps I'm referring to:
Etsy! I just ordered some gorgeous personalized cards from pinklilypress. Siskastudio also does very nice work.
I am not very crafty but thanks for the suggestion snmcdowell! Maybe I'll use this an excuse to get better at it.
Suzanno, thanks for the etsy recs. It's really overwhelming when you type "stationary" in their search bar. I appreciate being able to narrow it down. I will check out these sellers now...
If anyone else has any other suggestions, let me know!
Thanks!
Once again, I'll recommend a local (North Carolina) favorite (they do mail order as well) -- Reaves Engraving. Informal notes (thermography) start at $62 for 150 ... you could probably get 125, but that price isn't listed. Hand-lined envelopes will set you back $87.50 for 125. They have also Crane's paper (you could probably get engraved Cranes within your budget) -- but their house stock is also excellent.
Cheers!

Hi Bees,
Can anyone recommend a website for some simple stationary? I need thank you cards for our engagement gifts. I'd like a simple flat card, thermographed with our first names, with a fun envelope liner. I love paper, so I'd like something thicker than your normal stationary.
The prices at my local wedding stationary shop are insane. I'd like to keep it under $250 for 125 cards.
If anyone is in the NYC area, shop recommendations are also appreciated!
Thanks for your help!
