I think they are cute and I would love to wear them, but I also think they are too expensive and I would probably not wear them, except around the house, after the day. Victoria Secret has some hoodies that look like they might be made with better materials than most.
I would wear them, I want to get them too, I saw it on a bachlorette party in Miami this summer and was like: I NEED TO DO THAT!
so I feel totally clueless but I have no idea what you're talking about. Please fill me in!
ohhhh. That's sort of obvious. Now I feel silly. I think a hoodie and warm up pants would be cute if the "label" was small and not completely across the back.
hahaha its funny you say that because I actually really like the most abnoxious one http://www.customglamgirl.com/ss-all-about-bling-hoodie.html
Lizabeth...Where did you find that? I went to the VS website and it isnt there :(
I love those hoodies.. Im thinking of making my own label.. I want to buy a white or black sweater and just go to Wal-Mart and buy letters rhinostones.. they are cool and easy to apply on the shirt.. Im gonna try doing that and maybe save some money..
I don't like to throw the t-word around - to each her own - so I voted for the third option. They seem like a mostly a one-time use kind of deal. Other than the wedding morning, I can't think of another time to really wear the gear.
I second VS for the better quality materials. Also, the knot's online wedding stuff shop is having a sale until Wednesday, so you should see if there's anything available that's worth the cost
I had a Soon to Be Mrs. C___ sweatshirt I wore all the time, mostly around the house. I loved it. (Okay, love it. I still wear it even though I just got married.) But I didn't pay much for it. My sister bought the sweatshirt and had it done by a friend with one of those fancy, programmable sewing machines.
Found this totally cute :) how long am I a "bride" for? just my wedding night? :(
Oooh - one of the examples on that website is already customized just for my future name lol! How convient ;)
And to answer your question - part of me likes the idea and thinks it is cute, but at the end of the day I likely wont do it. Too expensive for too little use, plus i'd probably just end up feeling to silly wearing it other then the actual day! I might have to compromise and get some cute little white outfits though :) Oh, and I'd definitely like bride undies!
@jennychicago: The short sleeved hoodie isnt available anymore but they do have a long sleeved one and 3/4 sleeved one...too cute! I bought the short sleeved one from another bee for a girlfriend and omg its gorgeous!! Im getting the long sleeved one soon and Im super excited!! When you go on their website, you can do the search at the top of the page and just type in bridal or bride.
I LOVE this type of stuff, I mean how many times do you get to be a bride?! I plan on going all out with this stuff and yes, I'll probably be one of thsoe wives that still wears it after we get married :)
I got free ones online for all the guys and now am going back to order some for the girls. I don't care what people think, I waited almost 40 years for this and I think they are cute and I want them and I got them. LOL, the FH will prob just roll his eyes and laugh at me, but in the end he will wear it for me.
Make your own. I did. For myself and my MOHs. I bought the hoodies from Old Navy and used iron on transfer paper to prsonalized them. You can see them on my blog diyprincessbride.blogspot.com.
I really like them! then again i LOVE hoodies and sweatshirts and tshirts lol I think that if you find some that are reasonably priced get some! You could wear it when ever you want lol Maybe not the ones that say BRIDE, but your names and the date would be perfect...now I want one... lol
I think i am having a bridesmaid day so we can go to the spa and lunch and have a little gathering at my house and make shirt like this. its super easy to make just get the stuff from hobby lobby or Michaels. make it a craft party and tell the girls lets make them for the day of the wedding
I really like the custom stuff.. It makes me feel like a dork to like them, but I think they are cute.
I fell in love with those hoodies the sec. I saw them. But the price was way too much, so then I was hoping to get it as a gift or something. Then I saw ms.monicka's diy thread (which is awesome and so much better that the ones you buy, because they're personal and you made it) and I'm going to make it for me and my bridesmaids! Plus you can customize what font you want and what you want on the sweater, because you're the designer!!
I think they can be cute, if you get a good one, but for the cost to wear for one day, it's just not worth it.
I made my own! Got a cheap hoodie, bought iron ons from jubilee rhinestones & put them on!
I broke down and got a bride shirt to wear for my bachelorette party (they are on clearance on the knot)... I think the sweats are cute but I would just never wear it agan... I think.
I like the hoodie and would wear it after my night out - hen night to recouperate!
I totally bought a bikini that says "Bride" in rhinestones across the back for my bachlorette in Vegas. When else can you do it? :)
I think they're super cute but I wouldn't pay a lot to buy them. I dunno, I guess I like the idea of doing my own a bit more.

So I really want one of those hoodies or sweats but
1. I think they are kinda pricey
2. All the ones I have found seem like they are made with cheap materials
3. I don't know when/where I would wear it
Are any of you ladies wearing them? Do you think they are tacky, or cute? Any ide where I could find some nice ones?
