I made my own…. they’re about $4 a piece when you do it yourself and it’s quite easy!  Just something to consider…

@Beckster329:  Could you send me directions on how you made your own hangers?

@lindsayandchris09:  I didn’t get mine on etsy, but I got it somewhere else. It’s from Two Broads Design, good price I thought and SUPER cute. You also get to pick the color of wire your name is in and color of a bow on the hook.

I got mine from this shop:

Although her prices have gone up since I bought mine, I would still highly recommend this shop.  My hanger is beautiful and was shipped extremely fast!

I bought mine from http://www.etsy.com/shop/TellOurStoryToo?ref=seller_info

I did a LOT of DIY projects, so I opted to buy this instead of adding another craft to my list.

I picked this seller because they used colored wire and their prices were good (including shipping to Canada)

Here is my hanger:

I didn’t use any one website for instructions… I just looked at many sites, got some ideas, and then started.  If you google “DIY wedding hanger” you should find lots of sites.  I found one that suggested picking a cursive-type font, printing the name out big, and then bending the wire to basically fit the letters.  I didn’t do that, but it sounds like a good idea.  In the meantime, I  used 12 gauge wire, which I bought from this etsy seller:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/EnchantingBeads?ref=seller_info  You can buy the wire at craft stores too, but it’s more expensive.  I also used plain wooden hangers from BB&B that sold for like $10 for a package of 5 (maybe less, I can’t quite remember).  I did have to drill holes in the wooden hanger to get the wire to go in… Fiance helped me with this because he thought I was going to drill a hole in my thumb.  I made them for my BMs.  Here’s a pic (sorry so big!):
