Hey I really want a side bun with a flower, which looks gorgeous but unsure if a veil as well would be too much, but i’ve always wanted a veil and feel it would finish a outfit off… has anyone else worn all 3? any pictures would be great…

@stacielizzi: Do you have any inspiration pics?

Personally, I think that a side bun, a flower, and a veil worn all at once would be just too much going on.
Why don’t you wear the veil for the ceremony, and then after you remove it, wear the flower for the remainder of the evening/reception? It’s exactly what my gf did at her own wedding.

Do a test run and see how you feel about it. Also ask someone who will give their honest opinion to tell you what they think.

I don’t think it is too much at all, I think it adds a little extra something!

I didn’t have a side bun, but had a large low bun centered at the nape of my neck. I also wore a flower/feather clip and a very simple veil that I kept on all night. It can be done and not look “too much.” My dress was also pretty simple too so I think that made it look less overdone.

During my ceremony, I had a messy side bun, a pearl/crystal flowery hair comb, and a veil. :

I’ve seen it once and I think it looks fine

Wow thanks guys and thanks for the pics you looked gorgeous in them pictures. My dress is slightly fussy on top it’s the justin alexander 8483, although making it into a sweetheart neckline for a softer look. I have my first fitting on Saturday so I’m going to take a flower and my veil to sample the look before I waste money on my 3rd hair trail. My veil is only short as I didn’t want to take the detail away from the back of the dress.

@stacielizzi: I purchased silk orchids for my hair in case natural ones didnt work out. I had my las vegas wedding and I really wanted natural flowers. My stylist put in the little flower and it was already looking a little dry. I changed for this little babies I had purchased on Etsy
You can see a little of my little flower in my profile picture
this are also great for fittings as they dont get ugly.
Post some pictures of your hair style it is one of my favorites favorites.

Thank you for your help everyone
(miss paul baby you look beautiful):
I really like these
my veil is very thin and see through its goes to the middle of my back. (had to change from a short veil as it just looked too much)
I am finding it hard to find any decent websites to get the flowers from.
I was think more a neat bun like the pictures above rather than a messy bun, although I would be happy with either.
My dress is the justin alexander 8483 (i’m having this made into a sweetheart neckline).
