I have just one cat.  I adopted him from a family that had a baby with severe allergies off of Craigslist.  He was an adult cat and is now a senior cat, but I really wanted a laid back cat that needed a home badly, and that would not requiare as much attention as a kitten.  It worked out great and he’s spoiled rotten 😀

We have 1 dog, 1 cat and 1 hamster.  We used to have 2 ball pythons, 1 corn snake and 1 ferret, but my fiance and his friend decided that they didn’t want to breed snakes anymore (our friend had 6 or 7 different kinds of ball pythons) so we sold them and the ferret was short lived… My fiance had one years ago and thought he’d like to have one again, but I wasn’t having it cause they smell lol.

You weren’t kidding about having a zoo!

We have one dog- she’s a jack russell mutt of some sort. Someone dumped her our by my aunt and uncle’s house. They couldn’t take another dog in, and I was looking for one. She is the sweetest dog, and I really lucked out!

I’m trying to convince my fiance to get another, but he doesn’t want to before the wedding, and we are going to start TTC almost immediately after the wedding, so we may not get another for a while. I want to get either a lab or a golden retriever…but we’ll see 🙂

1 cat and 1 dog.

Back home in Cali, we ran a “small” rescue and shelter. We had around 60 cats and kittens (to adopt out) when I moved out, three dogs, four horses, one cockatiel and about 10 personal cats.

We had five acres of land so they weren’t all couped up. I’d love to get another cat.

@LaWife:  Holy crap. Thats a lot of animals! Your house must be tons of fun.

I just have 3 dogs. A 14 year old Jack Russell Terrier, a 6 year old Great Pyrenees mix, and a 3ish year old Pittie.

In the past I’ve had a rabbit, 2 gerbils, and 2 snakes (a ball python and a red tail.)

@LaWife:  Holy cow. How do you ever go on vacation? I’d be terrified to feed your pets. 😉

I’ve got two labs and 3 horses.

We have a dog, 3 cats and a guinea pig.  We had two piggies, but Buttercup died a couple weeks ago.   🙁

Our dog, a cattle dog/GSD/fox terrier mix, loooooves to herd our three cats.  There’s always some sort of ruckus going on in this house.  😉

Wow!  We always joke that we have a zoo, but some of you ladies sound like you legitamely have zoos!  It’s amazing and wonderful you have opened your home to so many animals 🙂

We’re like the Brady bunch of pets.  He had 2 cats and a dog, I had 2 dogs and a cat.  Now we have a house full.  We don’t plan to ever own this many at the same time again, but we love them all!
