i wanna do a petal toss as we walk back down the aisle after the ceremony.
I dont really like petal cones or organza bags.
Are muslin bags ok you think? My wedding is rustic vineyard style.

It seems to me it might be sort of hard to get the petals out of the bags.

what if they were like 4x 6?

have think of little cones… i think open cones are easier

I also think the bags are difficult. If you could figure out a way to make the bags stay open, that might work.

what if i took out the drawstring?
if not these, how can i make it easy without a cone or a platter? something single-serve…

although not too different from your original idea, have you thought of mini burlap bags?
I have seen them used with the drawstring removed and the top edge folded back down so it was easier to remove the petals.
You can use a can of spary starch if you want the top edge to have some body to hold a cleaner edge when folded down.

I think the cones are your best bet. when people want to toss the petals, its going to be hard to get them out of the bag on time. Im not crazy about cones, but thats what we ended up doing.

Cones are really easy to make and you can use your favorite paper. Just take a sheet of printer paper and roll it to make a cone, so you can see how to do it, and so you will get an idea of the size of paper you will need. You can get a really cute hole punch and then thread ribbon through the top of the cone to hang them on the chairs. You could also sew the ribbon through the top of the cone for an even prettier design. Use a hole punch to make the sewing holes. You can also get a sewing needle with a big enough eye to thread through the holes.

I think cones are a better choice!
