Just need some help. I can’t decided on whether or not I want to wear a tulle blusher or a long chapel veil. I am 5 foot 2 and unsure if I can pull off the long veil. HELP! Show me your veils, please!
Here’s my dress and veil choices in a previous post of mine with tons of photos for visual reference:
P.S. My grandmother keeps telling me how beautiful a long and simple, floor-length tulle veil will be but I am afraid it will overwhelm me! Here’s the veil I had in mind that I do love and hope I can pull off with my dress:

Hi, I’m also a petite bride (5′ 0″). I saw your other post, and I think the blusher veils you’re interested in are absolutely perfect. The style of dress you’ve chosen would look better with a blusher. I feel like a full length veil would hide the cuteness of your dress (especially the shoulder straps).
The veil I chose is Bel Aire V7031. There aren’t many good photos of it floating around online, though 🙁 I wanted to wear a blusher, as well, but my mom preferred that I have a longer veil (mine is finger-tip length). Are you still leaning toward a blusher?

I’m 5’0″ I’m doing birdcage but I didn’t even think of my height when I choose it. I think anything will work as long as you plan.

I am 5’0 and considering a chapel length veil or possibly cathedral. For me, as long as it is single tiered, I think we can pull it off~

I’m 5’3″ and doing a cathedral length veil. I’ll only be wearing it for the ceremony and the photos before/after. For the reception I’ll go with a shorter veil (either elbow or blusher/birdcage). I’ve gotten veils from friends and family, though, so cost wasn’t an issue in deciding.
I think that being short/petite isn’t bad with a long veil at all, it’s all in how you place it and what you feel compliments you and your dress best.

I wore a fingertip veil and I’m 5″2, I’ll see if I can find a good pic.

I have a friend is is around 5’1 and she wore a plain cathedral veil and she looked amazing and it wasn’t overwhelming on her – I think the chapel veil should be okay.
I’m 5’0 and wore fingertip

i had the same issue, im five foot and love the look of a chapel or cathedral length veil but didnt want to look like i was being consumed by tulle. so i purchased a Waltz length veil which hit floor length. Gave the romantic feel but wasnt fussy and to long to get in the way!

I’m 5’3, and I wore an elbow length, single layer veil that I took off IMMEDIATELY after the ceremony.

I wore a fingertip veil, and I’m barely 5’1″. Didn’t see that option in your poll!

I wore a fingertip double veil and I’m 5’2″. I wore it through the ceremony and small portion of the reception. I think you can do anything you want as long as it is in proportion to your overall look and your gown. Good luck!

Hi Bees, sorry I am late in this response!
All of you are gorgeous and look amazing in your veils! 🙂 It helps to see what other petite brides are going for. I know I can make any veil work, but I either want to go floorlength or stick with the blusher. I tried on a beautiful fingertip veil but didn’t like it on me when I was trying on dresses.
P.S. I might stick with the blusher. Somehow, I think it suits my personality, although I always dream of long and flowy veils! I guess I will have to wait for my dress to come in so I can try different veils on with it.
Thanks for your help, everyone! I appreciate it! 🙂
