JazzyGirl85:  I would try Gap and Express. I’m 5’1, and I find that the petite pants at loft still basically go up to my boobs…they’re terrible. Their shirts are decent though, and they’re always having sales. Most of my pants come from gap or express. Express doesn’t have petite, but they do have ‘short’ sizing and since its cut more modern, the rises aren’t super high for a petite girl.

I’m 5’1 and a size 00. So, you can imagine finding clothes to fit is hard. I mostly shop at the Loft, JCrew Factory and Banana Republic. All of these brands go on sale often. If you have an outlet mall near you, take advantage of that. Banana and Jcrew outlets having amazing deals.  I buy my jeans from American Eagle. I don’t really care they are meant for teenagers – they fit well and they are so affordable. I don’t like Kohls clothing selection, so I never shop there. The Limited also has some good options and a petite section.

I’m 4’11” and 109lbs.  My favorite stores for clothing are: Loft, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Old Navy (they sell petites online and have really cute dresses!), and H&M (European sizing mitigates not being petite sizes). Loft always has great sales – never buy anything full price! If you’re at all hourglass shaped or pear shaped, you need to try the loft curvy fit jeans.  They’re the only ones I can wear.

The Limited also has petite clothing now, including suiting. Always sales going on there too!

I am 5′-2″ and buy petite pants for work from Loft and Banana Republic. I like that Banana offers short sizes as well because petite tends to be a little too short. I still have difficulty finding pants that fit, even with petite and short sizing, since they are often too wide and don’t fit in the upper thigh/butt area. I hate shopping for pants! I have more luck finding jeans, but have only found a couple of brands and styles that work.
