Weddingbee boards
The mass banning is horrible, and now I have no way of getting in touch with people who I have become friends with.
I am starting this as a petition to get banned members back, my top priority is Lezlers, although I strongly believe unless they did something on this site they should be allowed back in.

why was lezlers banned? she was posting here as recently as yesterday...
Somehow I knew that Lezlers was one of the users who would get banned when I read this thread. Spidey senses...
So far, I know of 3 members who were well-respected and actively contributing members of the community that were banned for no good reason.

Members of that private snark board were given one-time amnesty... some users chose to ignore that, hence the bans.

@jayce: Someone on the other thread said that deliciousappleblue was banned as well.
ETA: From what I can see, luckyprincess, izziebear and Mrs.tobe were too.
@mrbee: You never said if they didn't immediately stop posting on the other site they'd be banned here. I got the impression that as long as you weren't a "ring leader" you would be fine, so I'm sure others thought the same thing. I just want to be able to contact my friends, by banning them you have killed any opportunity for me to at least get their e-mail address or something.

@Mrs. Meowerson: Lezlers was banned because she joined the "evil" site and started posting trying to get granted access to the super-duper private boards just because she was curious.
@MandaMack: Yes, exactly. We ARE grown women, and I think we ARE allowed to see for ourselves whether or not something is the truth. lezlers was just checking it out to make her own judgments about the boards and about the people on it, but apparently she's not allowed such liberties. Not in mr bee's domain anyway.
Hey Mods...could someone shoot Lezlers an email and tell her to message me at my Blog or something??? And let her know that I totally petitioned...

@Mrs. Meowerson: Not here, on the "evil" site. They made some topics super private so only certain people could read them.

@jayce: Sorry ladies. We tried being hands off for months, and the situation has only gotten worse. I finally realized that we had to take action in order to be taken seriously.
The snarky site was being used to do more than just coordinate snark and troll attacks. The final straw was when some members posted about setting up a pre-meetup meetup to coordinate making fun of bees at an Weddingbee meetup.
When I heard that, I realized that things had gone on for too long. If the snarky boards are going to allow their members to coordinate pre-meetup snark and then meet up afterward to laugh at meetup members... well, then you guys are clearly not doing a good enough job of keeping your snark limited to your forums.
And that's why we were forced to take action.
@Miss.Lace: I was going through Mr. Bee's original thread on the topic and it no longer said "Member" under her name.
Someone on the other thread said that ejs4y8 is gone too. Now that makes me really sad. She contributed a ton and was really helpful!
This website is a privilege, not a right. Mr. Bee can ban anyone he wants to ban. The other website is not his domain, but this one is.
Im really very confused- I keep hearing conflicting information from everyone- so were members banned because they participated and were snarky
or were these members banned because they participated in order to get to see the other snarky boards on that site?- what is there a post count you have to have on that other site in order to get to the really bad boards? Why would you want to go there anyways?
I guess the truth is somewhere in between?
I don't think they would have been banned for nothing. They were disrespectful to the board and other members.
We are “the banned” – those posters you seem to think are mean, evil, conniving trolls who live in a real life version of “Mean Girls” because we must have no lives of our own. Many of you have said quite snarky things about us, and it might surprise you to know who we are.

this is so weird....this whole other site was created just to make fun of ppl on wedding bee? oh my, cruel junior high flashbacks emerging....
did you have to get some kind of insider club "invite" to participate? so i can assume that if we weren't invited, we were probably being mocked on the other site?
@Mrs. Meowerson: Curiousity is my downfall and I so want to see what is on the other site but am now afraid to make an account or I might get banned here (even if I don't particiate there).
@missredvelvet: what? GabrielleElise1981- Im kinda shocked right now! I cant believe she was banned :( I really hope this is a mistake and not done because she was curious!

I want to see whats going on there too! Not to particiate there, just to see what its all about!
