We included our dogs in our engagement shots (they were SO uncooperative...bad dogs!) and will probably be putting pictures of the dogs up around the reception in some way. A cameo on the cake topper is a great idea!
I would LOVE to have my dog in the wedding, but we are getting married in the winter so it would be pretty hard to find a venue that would allow it. I'm sure we'll include him in some way though... we're pretty obsessed with him. Clearly. :)
I'm still trying to figure out a way to have our dogs IN the wedding. I mean we just love them so much it's probably sickening to other people LOL. We're looking into changing our venue to a winery, so I think we could make that work. We'd just have to find someone willing to dogsit for the rest of the night, or take them back home.
I loved Miss Stilettos table numbers, cake toppers, order some Moo Cards for the photo uploads, programs, etc. My 2 guys were in the wedding =o)
We made these adorable stamps for the invitations. It was Corduroy's face in the center of a frame with wedding bells on it. It was subtle and ridiculous, but just want we wanted. We did it at photostamps.com or something like that.
We're putting them on our wedding website, photos at the reception and probably the stamp for invites.
Just uploaded these on another post... but yea, Pugs are pretty much the 'theme' to our wedding... design that will be used for table #'s, buttons for my bouquet, photo upload cards, and STD's. I'm also doing pug cake toppers but no pictures yet.
OH! and we are doing pictures before hand at FMIL's and they'll be there all gussied up for the wedding. :)
@kjpugs: OK, the dogs' save the date tshirts - cutest. thing. ever!!!!!!!!!!!
@honeybun thanks! I was unemployed and had a LOT of time to do things like that... LOL
We incorporated our cats into our save the dates. Wish I could post them, but I don't have them on this computer.
So I couldn't resist - finally found my save the dates. We sent them out months ago so it's been a while. My fiance is a designer so he was able to recreate our cats and their personalities - the white one would absolutely get himself caught in kite strings and get carried away while the other would just sit and watch. And the kites are somewhat of a theme to our wedding - we're flying kites before the ceremony for pics and for something fun to do.

FI and I have the Kitty Brady Bunch (2 were his, 2 were mine, and we've "adopted" two strays) so we were thinking of, instead of table numbers, naming the each table after one of the cats and having their pics at each table. The only thing is that would be the only part of wedding that's cat related, we're otherwise having a strawberry themed wedding. Is that too much? (Sorry, I hope it's okay to post this in someone else's topic)
I LOVE those cat STD's!!! So whimsical and cute!!!
And the table # idea would work with any wedding theme... it's a good personal touch.
@tvilase: I love those!!! I just can't believe the things some of you ladies come up with...I just don't have the creativity!
Such cute STDs!! I love the kite idea.
We didn't include pets b/c the two cats are his and I am not a cat person. I had a pet bunny, love of my life, but he died before I met my husband (at the age of 13). At one point, I wanted to make an invitation with all sorts of hidden pictures within the scrollwork, but in the end we went with something simpler. I would have added silhouettes of the things that were important to each of us as well as things that define us as a couple. And if my bunny was going to be in there, then his cats would have too.
I think it's great to incorprate parts of your life into your wedding to make it less generic.
We love our Gus very much. (I think some people think we are crazy, but he's basically the 3rd entity that makes up our family). He was both in our STD's and he is going to be our ring bearer. I know he probably won't be perfect, but that's okay with me.
My golden retriever will be making an appearence in my getting ready photos (and wearing an adorable bow tie)!
I wanted my dog to be in my getting-ready photos. But he is a jumper. I had this vision of shredded lace and beads all over the floor. So I sent him to my neighbor's instead.

Not actually having them there (my kitties would be SO unhappy!), but does anyone have any fun ways to personalize your wedding with your pets?
I was thinking of having the kitties make an appearance on our photo upload cards, and would love for them to make a cameo on our cake topper (if we go with a custom one). If we had engagement photos anywhere near our home, I would have loved to get some shots with them to use (but we were nearly three hours from home).
Are you pets making any appearances at your wedding?
