I hadn’t thought about it until i saw a post on here…… should I add a petticoat/hoop skirt under my dress? The below picture is witout when i was dress shopping…my dress doesn’t come in until October. My dress is Mori Lee 2015.

FutureMrsHouy: I like the look and feel of a petticoat, but it’s a personal choice. I got one from David’s Bridal for like $60 after I had a good idea of how poufy my dress was without one (basically not at all), and that was the easiest, most cost-effectivething I ccould have done. I say wait until your dress comes in, or is about to come in, to decide. You could buy it right before your first fitting and return it if you don’t like the look.

Hoopskirts are amazing! I found a dress I loved but it wasnt quite as big as I envisioned in the bottom. The sales consultant helping me put a hoop underneath and it made a WORLD of difference. I bought one with my dress so it was pricey ($115) but you can find them online for much cheaper. Another great thing about the hoop is it adds alot more to the dress without adding more dress- it keeps things cool 🙂
