I really have no opinion except that I was at the mall and randomly in a pottery barn kids and checked them out and man are they cute! expensive, but cute!. but I say expensive without having any idea how much other diaper bags run 🙂

I had a PPB diaper bag–it was practical and cute. However it looked horrible after going through the wash. But since it was cloth, I didn’t want to not wash it. I went with a Timi and Leslie leather diaper bag this time which is even more practical (more compartments, bottle warmer, clutch included) and is really cute, I like it so far!

ALL of my girlfriends have the Boxy Backpack and they love it! They especially love the fold out changing pad feature.

My mom just bought mine for me, I can’t wait to get it.

I don’t know why you’d put it through the washing machine… the cloth is “wipeable”, it’s not just plain cloth (it’s coated canvas, the lining is nylon), so you should be able to spot clean it. The cleaning instructions say to do this. To throw it in the washing machine is like throwing something that says “dry clean only” on the label in the washing machine. (I’m not surprised HeatherLovesKenny ruined hers). Even the changing pad could be sprayed down and wiped off/sanitized.

@ms.melli:  A friend of mine gave me her Boxy Backback! I haven’t gotten to use it yet but I love how tough and durable it seems. It’s super cute and it’s really convenient that you can carry it different ways. I was unsure about wearing it as a backback but it was actually very comfortable and I can see myself using it that way. I didn’t think mine was cloth…if something were to spill it would just run off. That’s another reason why I love it because I know things aren’t going to soak into the outside! From being able to see it and play with mine i would definitley recommend one!

@Miss Root:  it was covered in baby poo. I wasn’t just going to spot clean it, but that’s just me. The cloth on the outside of the bag is not wipeable and when a messy diaper gets everywhere, I’d rather just have a clean diaper bag!

@Heatherloveskenny:  Hm, must be a different style than the ones my friends have- theirs are all totally wipe able- even the poo. Glad you found one that works for you! I still think it’s good to follow the cleaning instructions that come with your products!!! Otherwise, damage done is not the products fault, but yours.
