I am actually looking into caterers too. Stephen Starr restaurants are fabulous so I would assume their food for catering is also great. But this is based on assumption and not fact. I do however know that their prices are quite steap.

I have spoken to Feastivities. At first they were beyond amazing. But as time has gone on it has taken a ton of effort to get in touch with them (multiple calls and e-mails) and their prices have gone up a ton since our first contact. And we haven’t even signed the contract yet. We are still talking to them though to see what they can do about this.

Anyone else have a recommended caterer?

I used Sage Catering, which is based in Berwyn, and they were fabulous from start to finish.  Everyone said the food was delicious, and the company was an absolute pleasure to work with.  We designed our own menu based on some of the dishes they have on their master list, and some special requests.  I think their prices tend to be slightly less than Feastivities, though I’m not sure exactly how much.  If you want more details, feel free to PM me!

i went to a taste testing at appleford estate with Peachtree and ward catering. AMAZING. I think they are on the high end for caterers but its completely worth it and it shows too everything is top notch fresh and AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS, i took one of my bridesmaids and she cannot stop talking about it and it was a week ago! i am thinking about switching venues just so i can hire them, my venue (not finalized yet) is bartram’s garden and im not in love with any of the caterer’s on their list so…we will see what happens.
