Hi all! So I am looing for a hotel in center city for a hotel block for my guests. Any recommendations? So far we are going to look at the Westin, Radisson Plaza-Warick, and the Sofitel. Anyone have any feelings about these hotels? Also has anyone had hotel blocks with any of these hotels? I'd love to hear what rates you got and what extras I should ask for. Thanks everyone!!

I have an extra block set up at the Sofitel. Our rate is $140 which is $20 less than the 'going rate', but no additional 'extra's' other than the price.

I've had a lot of guests request a 'pet friendly' hotel and the Sofitel is pet friendly. Some guests are bringing their dogs instead of getting a sitter!

The Warwick is also pet friendly.  I don't know what their prices are though.

I got the Radisson-Warwick for $139/night.  It's beautiful!  The only cheaper option I found was The Latham, and that was $119/night.  It's much older than the Radisson, so for the $20 extra, it was worth it.

i am looking at the sofitel and the palomar for my blocks. sofitel is about $20 less/night and the rooms are larger (palomar is more "boutiquey chic".) also, the palomar wants $4/bag to distribute gift bags at check in. i might just do both to give people a choice, was considering adding the rittenhouse too, but they make you pay if 50% of the block isnt booked, versus just putting the unbooked rooms back into their pool.
