We were at a wedding in Philly in August. It was at Ballroom at the Ben. Was great... Cocktails were up stairs and dinnerdownstairs... Looks large enough to hold the crowd your looking for.
If you want something other than a ballroom or wedding hall, The Franklin Institute holds up to 300. We are having our reception there in June 2012. They are super friendly, easy to work with, and all of the amenities and add ons are amazing! Good luck and happy planning!
@philly2012mg: I know the Curtis Center and Vie (both catered by Cescaphe) can hold that many. Also, the Please Touch Museum is ENORMOUS. You might want to check out Miss Turkey's Blog on the main page, sheis getting married at the Rittenhouse in May.
colleens at the savoy in pennsauken he is amazing he does cocktail hr all the way to breakfast
@philly2012mg: I was married at the Please Touch Museum in June. While I had a smaller reception, lesss than 100, they have multiple rooms to choose from and their largest, main room is perfect for a reception your size. It's a gorgeous building and the staff was great to work with too. I also thought they were reasonably priced for a Philadelphia wedding.
