Hm. I'm assuming this will be an after party for after the reception? To begin, where in Philly is your reception being held? That may dictate what area of the city you'll be unless you don't mind traipsing across town. Do you prefer loud with lots of people or a more low-key spot?

This is for an after Rehearsal Dinner spot and for people to meet up that are not going to the RD. We are fine with cabs to the location, the hotel is right on Broad and Locust, so that is pretty convenient.
I prefer a place that we can get a room or a bunch of tables as there will be a range of ages with us.

Okay. I'll brainstorm a bit for you, but one idea that popped into my head, and I'm not sure how much your budget is, but if you're maybe looking for something a bit fun to do afterwards, you could head over to Lucky Strikes on 13th and Chesnut and go bowling! It's also a cool enough spot for people to just hang out, have a drink, and relax as well and not feel obligated to bowl. I don't know, you guys might be exhausted Friday night and not up for much physical activity and more of a chill spot but it could be fun! I'll rack my brain some more though...

Tequila's is awesome -- and it's right near Rittenhouse, where there are tons of other great options as well!
Most of our guests were staying at the Warwick, so we all walked over from the venue and took over the bar - and Saturday there is karaoke night!! My new husband and I even sang a duet.
Now we are thinking FinnMcCools. Thoughts on that place on a Friday Night?
I have to agree with Miss Bruschetta. I love Tequila's. Went there for every one of my friend's birthdays in college. Great food, fun atmousphere and I love seeing the waiter carry a tray on his head. Crazy. Plus they always gave the birthday girl a free shot of tequila when we went.

I am in a debate over an after-party location in Center City. Where did/will you have yours? What neighborhood should we go out in Rittenhouse or Old City?
