I am not doing the Broad Street Run b/c I will be on my honeymoon but I am training to get in better shape and hopefully eventually be able to run with FH. I am the same way (person to be accountable to). So far my motivation is lacking....I am trying to get a friend of mine to be a "drill sergeant" for me. I need someone to answer to.

So I had a complete... let's call it an epiphany... recently. I have been having a really hard time getting motivated to get my sorry butt to the gym to get healthy and wedding sexy! I was always a tall, lean gal in my teenage years/early twenties. Now that I'm nearing my mid-twenties, it's just not so. I tried to think of what realllllly motivated me in those years to stick with it and stay in shape.
The answer came to me... I was a competitive cheerleader and the greater goal of the competition was ALWAYS the driving force behind enduring grueling practices 5 days a week!
So BM T and I decided that we are running the Broad Street Run on April 30, 2011!! This will motivate me to get into shape, keep me healthy, and get me wedding sexy- ALL IN ONE!!
Any other Philly Bees plan on running? If any of you are planning on running and are looking for a training partner to stay motivated, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PM me!! I always do better with a person to be accountable to!
