How many people? Brunch/lunch/dinner? And do you have any particular likes or dislikes as far as food goes? I'm not that familiar with the Northeast but I might be able to think of some places in Center City if you have some more details to narrow things down!

I'm always partial to Beau Monde, which is a crepe place on 6th and Bainbridge. There isn't a private room downstairs, but they do have an upstairs that might work -- definitely worth calling to ask if it appeals to you at all.
Tavern 17, which is on 17th between Walnut and Locust (in the Warwick Hotel) has a private room in the back and the food is pretty good -- was just there the other night. It's also pretty classy looking, as "taverns" go. For something a little fun and different, you might also try The Melting Pot...
Everything else I'm thinking of could end up being pretty expensive (one of the problems with CC) but at least there are a couple places to start with! There are probably some better options outside the city though, so hopefully someone else will chime in for you!
I had my sisters shower at Rembrandts on 23rd&Aspen. They have a really cute upstairs room and the food was great!
I love rembrandts!
As far as Northeast goes... you may want to check out some places in Newtown, its a pretty quaint area and not too far from Bensalem.

Im trying to help my mom find a nice location for my bridal shower. Maybe at a restaurant that has a private room? Where did you have your bridal shower? What are some places in Philly or the Northeast Philadelphia area or Bensalem area that you think would be nice for a bridal shower? Thanks Hive!
