My ring is from Safian and Rudolph on Jeweler’s Row. We went there for our bands as well and I’ve gotten it cleaned there. I’ve been happy with ther service. I’ve dealt with Barskys too and they have a huge selection.

I’m not sure how much he paid. He did do a bank check over credit and they knocked some off so if you’ve got cash up front you’ll get a better deal.

My ring is from Harry Merrill and Son on Jewelry Row. Nice, small, family owned store. I wanted a vintage inspired ring but they have designer as well. My ring is .77 center stone and .25 side stones and was under $4k. It’s also Platinum.

Didn’t like Golden Nugget AT ALL. Felt like cattle in there!! I like the one on one attention in Harry Merrill. Here is their site: https://www.hmerrill.com/

My FI got it at Robbins Diamonds in Delaware to save on the sales tax! It was around $7,500. .96 carat in a halo setting.

I’m not a Philly bride but FI is from Philly and we are getting our wedding bands from a jeweler there called Barrio Neal.  I love their unique designs and everything is custom.  Our bands cost about $750 each, which was a great price compared to what we found in DC.

My e-ring and band are from Safian and Rudolph. Their service has been great! My husband was friendly with them so we never considered going anywhere else.

Don’t go to Golden Nugget. They can be so rude in there.

My FI got my engagement ring from Sydney Rosen. He apparently had a wonderful experience with them. I was very specific about wanting a marquise sapphire or topaz and not a diamond. He went to a few places and they weren’t that helpful. He went to Sydney Rosen and the salesperson went out of their way to get a sapphire. He left the store and went to one of their other stores to get the sapphire. They were extremely helpful. My ering cost about $2000.

We will probably stop there to check our their wedding bands when we get to that point in our planning.

Not exactly Philly- I got mine at Morton and Rudolph in Cherry Hill, NJ- totally worth the trip over the bridge. Best customer service hands down and listen to your budget and wants 110%. They will even go out personally looking for diamonds through their distributers if they don’t have one in their stock that meets all the criteria you want. I will be upgrading my ring next March and trust them that they will find the perfect diamond for me!

my wedding band is from golden nugget. they had an amazing selection. it’s tacori, which i didn’t set out to get, but my engagement ring is custom designed and very vintage-y, so tacori looked beautiful with it. my set is definitely pricey. tacori is EXPENSIVE, but golden nugget has a lot of beautiful stuff

@musician32992:  My ring is from the Golden Nugget, but idk how much it cost. It seemed like they have a HUGE variety in there so I think youd definitely be able to find what youre looking for!

My engagement ring came from Safian and Rudolph on Jeweler’s Row. Like a previous poster, I had a great experience here. The salesman, Michael, was very laid back (not pushy at all!) and spent 2 hours with my FI and I educating us on how to buy a diamond. We paid under $5,000.

I was also very close to picking a ring at Steven Singer on 8th and Walnut…they have gorgeous, modern-looking pieces too!
