I haven't determined the final floral budget yet, but it's going to be SMALL. We're getting married in a botanical garden so we don't need a lot of decoration, and I'm making my bouquet out of vintage brooches. So all we need are a handful of centerpieces and 3 BM bouquets.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with Flowers by Mary Elizabeth.

My floral budget is $4000 and we are using Brittany at Petals Lane.  She is super sweet!

We also used Brittany from Petals Lane....she, her husband, and her team were nothing short of amazing!  Our budget was $3000 and that included: bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets, 11 boutonnieres, 1 wrist coursage, 14 low centerpieces, 9 cocktail hour table centerpieces, 1 tall centerpiece for the placecard table, flower petals to scatter on the ground for the ceremony, delievery and set-up (to the reception site, the hotel for the bouquets, and the ceremony site for the petals), and they hung 90 paper lanterns for us on the ceiling at the reception site.

Any bride in Philly would be missing out if they did at not meet with Brittnay.

I don't have a budget at the moment but I am using Loretta at Amaranth. She did everyone in my family's bar or bat mitzvah and I still love her.

Any one else? I am looking into florists in the Philly area also.  3-4k seems pretty pricey to me - is that a normal amount to spend of flowers? Maybe I am in sticker shock, but that's a lot for plants...

@rachaelrobin: if you are willing to drive over the river, you can probably get some more competitive pricing in Delaware.  The local supermarkets that have a floral department (such as Acme) might also be an option--they usually do not provide delivery services so you'd have to pick up your flowers and transport them, but they would be much more competitive on the pricing front.

We are using Judith Campbell Design as she came highly recommended from our venue.  She has incredibly creative ideas and is so wonderful to work with.  We have a smaller floral budget- we are trying to stay under 2,000 and she was so nice about trying to accomodate our budget.  Some of the florists I spoke with were a little stuffy when I told them what I wanted and that I didn't want to spend over 2,000.

We are using OffShoots.  They are providing all of our decor and centerpieces etc., as well as our bouquets and bouts- the WHOLE bridal party, the moms bouquets, and corsages for the two grandmothers for $3500.00.  Chris is handling our wedding and I absolultely LOVE HIM!!

If you're willing to drive down to Delaware, my florist is Belak in North Wilmington. Our flowers came in well under $2k (bouquet for bride & 2 BM, 7 bouts, 3 pin-ons & 13 lush centerpieces). I was blown away by how well and quickly the owner understood what we wanted.

Flowers by Mary Elizabeth - highly recommend. $900 for 6 centerpieces, 5 bridesmaids bouquets, my bouquet, bouts for 6 guys, and some minimal reception decor.

I met with Mary Elizabeth and Loretta of Amaranth flowers this week.  I loved them both.  Excited to get the final pricing - but then the hard part...I have to pick someone.

I'll definitely need to look into Flowers by Mary Elizabeth. Either that or purchase them off of a bulk website. Thanks for the ideas, ladies.

I just contacted Mary Elizabeth via the Amarinth floral website. I have been reading about her all over this site.

@AngieN and @GirlWithaRing are you two speaking about the same Mary Elizabeth?

I'm using Sullivan Owen Floral & Event Design in Queens Village. They are amazingly talented and their designs are unlike any other in Philadelphia.

    Amazing!!!
