Not there, but, my cousins had their reception at the Cescaphe Ballroom (ran by the same company) in 2005.

It was beautiful and an overall great experience. Very fancy. Good service from bartenders and servers. Food was great as well.

JenWed2016:  We’re having our wedding at the Down Town Club (also owned by Cescaphe) and we looked at Tendenza as well 🙂

So far, our experience with Cescaphe has been wonderful! And everyone that knows we are getting married there that has been to a Cescaphe wedding before has raved about the food.

Let us know what you decide! 🙂

JenWed2016:  Awesome! If you end up needing advice about some other Philly vendors, feel free to shoot me a message 😉 We’re getting married in June so our wedding is just about planned!

JenWed2016:  My nephew had his wedding there and the food was delicious and plentiful. I think they actually could have done away with the plated meal as cocktail hour was so fabulous!

The only thing I thought was ridiculous was the size of the dance floor. For a 200+ person wedding, it was just way too small for comfort.

I can post some pictures if you’re interested.

Here you can see just how small the dance floor was, as they had to move some tables back and away from it to keep people contained to the space. Bridal party alone, and you can see the edge of the floor.

FI and I are also looking at this venue for 2016. It’s going to be a large Nigerian wedding with TONS of dancing, so the small dance floor is worrisome. Does anyone have any other Philly/ south jersey venues that are as equally “posh” and “glam”?

  • Wedding: Atrium at the Curtis Center

I’m also a Cescaphe bride. We’re getting married at the Atrium at the Curtis Center. We also felt that Tendenza was not big enough despite what the Cescaphe representative said. I feel like any wedding over 125 would feel super cramped there – especially if you have a bunch of dancing.

I agree with @JenWed2016 – for a ton of dancing with a similar style to Tendenza you might consider Vie. Not quite the same but gorgeous and certainly more spacious.

All Cescaphe weddings will have the same quality food (amazing) and level of service (top notch).

Good luck!

Miss Crab:  JenWed2016:  thanks for the recommendation! We havent started touring yet, but Tendenza is too of my list based on looks so far. Ive looked into their downtown club. The views are great, but wasn’t a fan of the decor.

JenWed2016:  are u guys still leaning towards tendenza?

ItWasntMe:  These photos are stunninng! Do you know if your nephew went through Beautiful Blooms as his florist? I just had my tour of Tendenza today and the only thing that bothered me was the fact that uplighting and draping (for ceremony) are additional costs and I have already heard that BB is quite expensive.
