Fellow Bees, I think it is time for another meetup. What do you think? Suggetions?
Oh! Oh! I'm in! I've never been to one. Is it typically like drinks/happy hour type of thing or like a dinner setting? Any idea where people are more located towards?
La Boca on mill has an awesome patio, and so does Culinary Dropout in Scottsdale, just off the top of my head.
Depending on my work schedule, I'm interested! I went to the last one in Chandler and had a great time!
I was soooo excited about going to the one in Chandler, but something came up and I had to cancel :( Ever since then, I've been looking forward to attending the next one.
Anyway, any suggestions on where to go? I live in the E. Valley, but don't mind driving a reasonable distance. Maybe some newly engaged bees will also join us. I can't wait to hear about Christmas & New Year's Eve proposals!
I would be interested in a meet up. Wedding is next month so I hope I can make it! I'd suggest a place like Kona Grill.

Any input as to when you all would like to meet? The only weekend in January I can not do is the 22-23. Otherwise, I am available any other weekend.

Most weekends work for me- maybe this will give me a push to get an album together to show off ;)
i cannot do the weekend of feb 19th cus my princess is officially hitting toddlerhood but im goot anyother weekend
How does Saturday, February 5th sound? I figured that with a month to go, we might get more bees to attend. It seems like there aren't that many Bees in our area, what's up with that?

I would like to attend the meet up-- Saturday the 5th works for me. I live in Gilbert, so anywhere in the east valley sounds great too me. Tempe Marketplace might be good place too? I'm open to anything

@hannathehamster: No, I'm thrilled! My FI is stationed in another state, I was more asking because I tend to not like going to "couple-y" events all by my lonesome.
5th works for me!! i think tempe marketplace would be good to. its kinda in the middle but not in the ghetto lol
@hannathehampster now how many of our grooms would really want to go and listen to a bunch of girls gab about dresses and flowers and manicures lol if we had it at hooters maybe they would come lmao
Okay ladies, how does Paradise Bakery or Maria Maria Restaurant @ Tempe Marketplace sound? So far everyone seems to be okay with Sat. Feb 5th.

I can do Feb 5th, but depending on the time I may have to bring my 4 year old with me. If we do it If we can do an evening time it would work better. :) I seem to be the only one who is on the West side, so Tempe Marketplace is a bit far, but I can make it work if I'm the only one out here.
Tempe Marketplace works for me. Feb. 5th migth work depends if anything comes up as my wedding is 2/12 (my profile is not correct). If I can, Iwill pop over. would love to meet the Phoenix ladies. :)
2/5 works for me! However, there was a suggestion of Maria Maria which has now closed, unfortunately. There's Dave and Buster's, California Pizza Kitchen, Red Robin, Paradise Bakery, ummm.... and probably others I'm forgetting.
I'm in shock, I read sleepyrebel's post and went running downstairs to tell my hubby that Maria Maria's had closed. OMG, I loved this place!!!

I'm good with Paradise Bakery, or theres a really amazing bbq place T.M.P its called Lucilles.. just a suggestion!
ooh ooh, are meetups open to already married bees!? :D i went to one last march and it was a ton of fun - i'd love to attend another! feb. 5th works for me and all of those places in tempe marketplace sound superb, haha! let me know if ya'll need help setting this up - once we choose a place, i'd be more than happy to call and make reservations. just let me know! :)
Hive, sorry I abandoned you for a few days but.......... I just found out were pregnant! (well, at least I am. lol) Not sure how far along and won't be able to find out until this upcoming thursday; so I've been a lil busy. Anyway, I guess were all set on the 5th. How does Cal. Pizza Kitchen @ around 4:00 sound??? Please let us know if this time works for you, I would like to finally agree on place n time now that we've set the date.
2/4 at CPK at 4pm works for me! Will it be under a name or just at the bar?
@future.mrs.v: I totally think you should come! I'd love perspective from someone who's already done all the junk we're saddled with. Hehe.
I just popped in on the local boards for giggles and saw this. I had so much fun at the last meetup that I would love to come to this one (as long as it's ok for an old married lady who wishes she still had a wedding to plan to be there!).
Oooh, if I do cake pops this time I bet they won't melt on the way in from the car! For those who weren't in attendance last time, check Mrs. Frog's meetup post for pics of the melted bees.

I just spoke with the manageer from C.P.K and even thoug they don't usually take reservations, she took down my info and assured me that they would have a table available for us. I just have to call her the day before to giver her a final count.
the reservation is under the name of "Bea."
I'm kind of new on here but have been a lurker for awhile! I like right down the street from the Tempe Marketplace....is it okay for me to go...even if I know no one?
