Hello, is this thing on? Anyone available for a meetup? We've tried before but I figured we'd try again! What's that saying, "try try again". I still suggest Sushi Eye or perhaps Postino Wine Cafe, Havana Cafe [really good Cuban food, trust me I'm Cuban], Sack's or even Duck and Decanter!
Also if you are new to Phoenix and haven't been to these wonderful little places feel free to MSG me, I'm happy to show them off!
I would love to meetup! The 30th works best for me! Can we go to Postino or Havana? I have been to Postino, always wanted to try Havana ! Hopefully, we can get some interested bees to come out!
I wish I could come, but I am not moving out there until May. :(
@Ms. Mojito- we certainly can, there are 3 locations. One in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and one in Ahwatukee. I'm closest to Ahwatukee, but am very willing to go to any of the three. It's wonderful food- it tastes just like any restaurant authentic Cuban place in Miami.
And @jordynrose we can certainly do another in May!! And at Postino- I know you don't want to have your Bridal Shower there but it really is excellent just for chillin'!
@AzinAugust: No! I think I do want to have my bridal shower at Postino! That was an awesome recommendation. I don't want to do it at DBG because it would be like planning another wedding.

Wow thanks AZinAugust for directing me here. Would love to make the meet up i definitely need to meet people in Phoenix. I will be moving to Chandler on Jan 30th, so the 7th of February works perfect for me. Also I am not sure which is closer to Chandler but I love Cuban food, so I vote Havanna
@dazzliing Yay for the love of Cuban Food. You have no idea how long it took me to FIND Havana Cafe once I moved here... being one of the only Cubans here everyone said "Oh have you been to Havana Cafe?" and of course no one gave me directions. Oh and the Ahwatukee one will be MUCH closer to you. Chandler is in the Southeast valley.
@Ms. Mojito Do you mind doing our Mini-Meetup on Feb 7th?
So far it looks like Havana Cafe is winning I vote for Ahwatukee as well, since I live here. :o)

my only request would be that we do it on jan. 30th instead. feb. 7th is superbowl sunday. i'm not excatly sure who will be playing just yet, but i'm sure the fiance and i will be watching it. if not, that's ok. i'll just catch up with ya'll next time. :)
I wish I could go! Unfortunately I'm not planning on driving down to the valley until the weekend of Feb. 20th... you girls have fun though!
Ok so the the 30th works for Ms. Mojito and future.mrs.v I think we should just do the 30th... maybe dazzliing can take a break from unpacking and join us? If not I say we schedule another for March AS WELL! :o)

@Ms. Mojito, so so so sorry about changing the location BTW. I looked on the website before Mrs. Penguin posted it on the blog and it had a "letter" saying they had shut down the Ahwatukee location. I drove by too- they took down the pink neons. Which is so sad because it was 10 minutes away from me!
