:( What a rotten thing for you to be going through!
I hope you are able to find another wonderful venue without too much stress. Have you tried the Knot local boards? I know at least for me (regionally) they're a lot busier than WB is.
Good idea-this local board doesn't get much traffic! Thanks so much :-)
So sorry this is happening to you! Do you live here in the valley? How many guests are you expecting?
I love the Westin Keirland and it's a great place for OOT guests with Keirland Commons right next door.
Limited experience with a couple- we toured Villa Siena and Inspirador, both were really nice, but out of our budget for a Saturday night. Both places offered tours at times other than their open houses and their staff seemed nice.
One we were going to look at but found our venue (the zoo) before we got to that point- the San Marcos hotel in downtown Chandler- it really looks pretty all lit up at night and has several ballrooms.
Good luck, I remember very clearly how crappy it was looking for the right venue.
Thanks everyone for your support and thoughts!
@arizonabride-we are expecting 60-65 guests. We called the Westin, but they are not free for our date. :-( That said, we did get a positive response from the Doubletree and the Firesky-just have to tour those-hoping for something good to come out of this.
Take a look here and see if there is anything that catches your eye:

We originally set out to have a destination wedding in the Phoenix area and looked into Boojum Tree Gardens which seemed to be fairly nice. Villa Siena was pretty as well but very expensive. http://www.rustlersrooste.com/weddings/function-space.html looks like an interesting space and the menus sound yummy and familiar enough that most people would have no problems eating them.
@Ember78-thanks for the suggestion! I have heard nice things about the Boojum Tree and have actually been to Rustlers Rooste.
I would suggest Desert Botanical Gardens. :o) It's absolutely beautiful and March is a great time of year for outdoor receptions!
Are you still looking for a place? Are you looking for a venue for both ceremony and reception or just one? I just got married a couple of weeks ago and did a bunch of research - don't mind helping, just want to know what to focus on so I don't overload ya ;)
@RenoRx-thank, I did find a place (The Firesky) and so far, all is great! Thank you though :-) Congrats on your marriage!

Hi again!
You may have heard that the Mondrian is up for foreclosure sale. I planned to have my reception there in March, but am now faced with choosing another venue in Phoenix. Has anyone had any experience with the following?
Inspirador-chandler
Sassi-Scottsdale
Tempe Arts Center/Phoenix Art Museum
Villa Siena-Gilbert
Secret Garden
Jw Marriott Desert Ridge
Westin Kierland
Any other suggestions/thoughts would be most appreciated! This is truly a nightmare.
