Hi Bees! Has anyone used a service to create your own photo albums? We have all rights to our pictures and I want to make an album of our e pics. I am leaning toward Artisan State but wanted to ask for any recommendations? THANKS!

klablo7: I printed with Artisan State (after getting recommendations here) and am AMAZED at how nice the book came out. I will say, I didn’t like the way the leather is edged on the little black book, but the pages and photo quality is amazing.

klablo7: I made a book with Shutterfly and was pretty dissapointed in the photo quality, the color isn’t accurate (although I look more tan! haha sigh).

klablo7: I designed my own and printed through Artisan State and I LOVE MY ALBUM!! 🙂 They’re software was so wasy to use, lots of options, affordable, and most importantly, the final product is BEAUTIFUL. I did a review of my album, with pictures, on WB…

Here’s my other post about my album (with pictures of my album!)

klablo7: Oh! I should also add that I got a little book made through mosaic (iPhone app) and Mixbook.
The Mosaic book is cute (I love the collage cover, but it’s randomized, not a lot of customizability), and made a nice gift for our best man/matron of honor – they’re married and their son was our ring bearer, so we gave them a little book with pictures of them and their son. The Mosaic book was perfect for this purpose.
The Mixbook books were very nice quality, but the books I ordered just had regular paper pages (instead of the thick board pages professional albums usually have). I was able to customize the pages nicely, and these turned out to be beautiful and affordable gifts for our parents and grandparents. Much nicer quality than the Mosaic, but still not like TOP quality that you’d want for your main album!
Artisan State is definitely the BEST for a really amazing professional quality album! 🙂
I hope this helps!

klablo7: Artisan state looks like a good option, as PP’s have mentioned. I used adoramapix (this was before artisan state came out) and was very pleased with them, so that is another option you could consider.
