I am planning on using some of our engagement pictures (and maybe some others from over the years) as a photo book guest book. I started some searching and know that places like Shutterfly and Snapfish do them; however, I’m looking for other sites that may be more simpler.
I saw an acquaintance have a nice album where it was a picture of the couple on the front, and then looked like a picture of each of them was in the back, and the pages were cut around the pics, so no matter what page you signed – you saw the pics. I’d ask where they did it, but am not in contact with the person anymore – but it was cute and simple.

Kacie209: I used Shutterfly to create our wedding photo album and while it was a bit time consuming, it was worth every single moment that I spent. The quality is wonderful and I LOVED the amount of personalization that I was able to do.

I’m not sure which company your acquataince used, I can’t think of one that does anything like that, but I always tell people that Shutterfly is the place to go for photo album needs. I plan on using them again soon for maternity/newborn photos. 🙂

I also used shutterfly. I was very happy with my result. One of the few things I wouldn’t have done differently.

- Wedding: October 2013 - The Fox Hill Inn
I also used shutterfly. They have amazing customer service. After receiving our book I noticed an issue on one of the pages that I wasn’t too happy about (a design on the page was partially printed over a photo). I emailed them and they gave me a credit for the full value of my book + expedited shipping so I could fix the page and have a new book made. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and I can personally say they lived up to it!!
Yes, it took a lot of time to arrange all the photos, but ultimately it was absolutely worth it.

I used Artisan State. I had read great things about their wedding albums so I got the guest book as a trial and wow, it’s pretty awesome.

- Wedding: March 2012 - Pelican Grand Beach Resort
We did an wedding album for our parents through Apple iPhoto and it is FAR superior to my friend’s Shutterfly album.
We did our guesbook as a scrapbook with some preset pictures of us and then photo corners already placed for people to slip in the polaroids they took at the wedding. We used a Kolo Album. It was a lot of fun.
