That's what we're doing also. Favors are completely optional to begin with. A lot of favors get left behind or un-eaten. But I don't think a single person will intentionally leave behind their photo booth strip. What a great memento of the evening!
A friend of mine did this, but also gave us a photo frame to put it in. That was nice, but not totally necessary either. I think you have the right idea!
@Miss Holly: We're doing the same - photobooth print and then a candy buffet as our favors. The booth will also function as our guestbook - it will print out 2 copies, one for us that they can sign and put in an album and one for them to keep.
This is what I'm doing! I printed up little cards to leave at each place setting telling them that as our thanks to them, they can enjoy unlimited use of the photo booth all night. They get a copy of each photo in a bookmark sleeve, so it'll be nice and I think they're going to love it. I definitely think it's more than enough.
We had a photobooth at our wedding, where the guests got a copy of each of their pictures. Then we also had Acrylic picture frames that the strips would fit into as well - which also doubled as our Place Cards! I've included a picture below from the reception - wish I had some better pics, but the photographer didn't take many of the Place Cards.
I've had so many positive comments/questions on these that I created an etsy listing to offer my services! I'll create your Place Cards for you & do all the work, so all you need to do is put them into the frames! Or I can do it all:

Even if you don't use my services for this, I think it's a great idea and a good way to save money!

Hi All,
We've already booked our photo booth through our photographer and I think the guests are going to love it. Each photograph will be printed out and guests can keep a copy with our names and wedding date on it. I honestly feel that this is enough of favor for our guests to enjoy. Not to mention that we're having s'more buffet at the Wedding and a brunch the next day. I certainly don't want to not have our guests feel unappreciated though, so I thought I would see what the Hive thought. Thanks so much!
