Hello all my lovely ladies! I have no experience as a wedding guest, and am having a lot of trouble planning my own reception – no idea what people expect!
Anyway, to the question at hand. We’re having a tapas dinner at a restaurant which we have booked out. (So it will be a sit down dinner with 10-12 small courses served over approximately 2 hours – it is definitely a filling meal by the end of it!). We’re just planning on having ipod music, my mum suggested I should think about having a photobooth for some entertainment factor (I thought people could just talk to each other and enjoy my generous bar, but apparently not :P).
I picture our reception more being a dinner party type event – eat and drink and talk, background music only, go home one all fed and watered, no dancing etc. Could a photobooth fit in with this? I don’t mind the idea of having one, I do think they’re a lot of fun. But because we’re not having an ‘after dinner’ time as such, it would probably have to be open during the dinner. Would this work or would it be a complete shambles?
Urghhhhhh. Not enjoying wedding planning at all!
