Hello! My fiance and I are having a photobooth at our reception and guests will get to take pictures (4x6 not the original strip) home as their favors.  I am struggling with how to let them know about this? I was thinking about having a glass frame at each place setting and putting a piece of paper inside with something along the lines of Please visit our photobooth..... etc.  Has anyone done this? I would love something creative and witty but the creativity is just not there today! Help! Thanks!

that's a fantastic idea but i imagine pretty pricey. with the cost of the photobooth, i would say forgo the frames and just put a place card by the plates to let them know. but if you can afford to splurge, i say do it! it's such a cool favor!

We did the same thing for our guests. We actually provided them with a magnet so they could take the picture home and stick a magnet to the back of it. We just attached the magnet and a note explaining the magnet and the photobooth to a piece of cardstock and put them at each table. A lot of people used the photobooth, but left the magnets anyway.

For ours, people could take as many pictures as they wanted so we felt like this was a good way to let people know that it was unlimited. I don't know what yours will be like, but I've also heard cute ideas like giving guests tokens for the photo booth if they can only go a certain number of times.

To encourage people to use the photobooth, when we went around greeting each of the tables, I would ask if they had been to the photobooth yet. If they said no, I told them to go and if they said that they had I told them to go again.

The frame sounds like a great idea too. You could also have the DJ announce it or have a sign or signs posted by the photobooth, at the front door, etc.

Thanks! I found a really cool brooklyn based company that is willing to travel down to MD for our wedding! I looked everywhere for a not cheesy booth and this will be perfect with our theme (vintage) so it was worth the splure :) http://shootbooth.com/index.php?/thebooths/the-solo-studio/

Ikea has basic 4x6 glass clip frames for .99 cents for 4 so I think we can afford to do it I just don't know what to say!

Ours was very simple. We also wanted people to upload digital pictures to an online album, so we had that on the cards too. Space was a little limited so that's why it was simple. We just wanted to get across that they can go as often as they would like and that they can take the pictures home with them. It's not very creative and I'm sure I could have come up with something better, but here it is...

    Visit our Photobooth!

You can visit the photobooth as often as you would like. Have fun with it! Keep all the printed photos as a souvenir. We have provided a magnet so you can display your favorite picture in your home!

We had a photobooth at our wedding and we invited my DH's youngest brother's friends to come and help people with the photobooth and they went around to each table asking people to use it. It must've worked because there was always a line at it! Our booth printed 2 pictures, one for the guest and then one for our guestbook and we had the guests write messages to us on pieces of paper - and we kind of scrapbooked it all together at the end.

I think just having a few cards on the table telling people to please visit the booth would be great. We wanted to do that, but ran out of time!

I think the idea of putting frames on the table is terrific! And a simple message of "Stop by our Photobooth and take a picture as a souvenir" works!

This is what I was thinking (all day! haha)

Make sure you visit the Sidecar Photobooth!

Take as many pictures as you like and use this to frame your favorite- just don’t forget to leave one for us!

Thank you for being a part of our special day!

    Have Fun!

    Love,

    Anna and André

Id make a sign for your photobooth too - we regret not making one for ours.  People obviously used it all night and knew it was there, but not everyone knew that the machine did double prints of everything so we had some extras left over that people forgot.

I just read what you thought about putting and I think it sounds fantastic!
