Which would your guests prefer? A totally “in theme” wedding, or a themed wedding with an awesome photo booth? You are a hostess, not a set designer.

That being said, why don’t you buy some 20s-style props for the booth? Bowlers, boas, handlebar moustaches, oversized martini glasses, strands of pearls, etc.?

I am also having a vintagey/victorian wedding and we’re getting a photobooth!  The pictures are our guest’s favors.  We don’t have crazy props — We only ordered vintage props from Etsy and they’re adorable!

Photobooths are so much fun. Your guests will love it and you are probably the only one that will notice it being “out of theme”.

rent some pipe and drape (or curtains) and section it off so it looks like a lounge area. then you wont see the big black box

Hey crjk2013… we’re doing a vintage-themed wedding, too! There will be a photobooth, and we found these sweet little holders that we’re using as favors:

Photobooths have such a nostalgic feeling in general, that just the idea kind of works with the vintage theme.  But I do think avonleaR’s drape idea would look really nice (and I might just have to do what she suggests!). Laughing

I would do it, seems to fit right in with your theme, plus who doesn’t love a photobooth!!

I wanted one badly but it wasn’t in the budget after we decided to do a bigger honeymoon so I will have to live vicariously through all of you.
