I am getting married in a barn next year, and am trying to find a really cool photo booth rental. I like the idea of a retro, vintage feel, but with a more contemporary feel. I’m torn as to whether to even have a photo booth in a barn, as I’m not sure if it will take away the look and feel of it. Anyway, I’m liking a photo booth rental company called Focus Photobooths. Anyone have any insight on them, or anyone that may be better? They have some “best of” on the Knot site, but are a tad expensive. I also found a more retro booth called The Traveling Photo Booth, but feel as though it may be on the smaller side, though the back can open up.

- Wedding: May 2014 - Madison, WI
Jamiew83: I’ve heard great things about The Traveling Photo Booth. They were also voted best Photo Booth in Wisconsin Bride, a resource I used a lot when planning my Madison, WI wedding! I was not disappointed with a single one of my vendors and many of them were featured in WI Bride as “best of” or they were in the top 3 for their category. I think it’s a really great resource to start with when looking for local vendors.
Not everyone I booked came from there, but again – good starting point. I didn’t end up booking a photo booth in the end, but I looked into it and The Traveling Photobooth was on the top of my list had we decided too. We just ended up thinking that with our guest list etc..it wasn’t worth the money/didn’t fit in our budget. But I always enjoy them at other weddings.
ETA: I had never heard of Focus Photo Booth, but it does seems they have good reviews.
