My fiance and I were lucky enough to have 2 engagement photo sessions for free–one done by a professional photographer and another by a friend who is just amazing with a camera. We’d like to do a photo guest book with these pictures, but I’m concerned by the type of paper that the book will be printed on–I don’t want the writing to smudge or mess up the pictures.
Anyone else have this concern? Any recommendations for websites to order the book and the type of paper?

@llambren: my sister used picaboo to create a guestbook and it held up nicely (didn’t smudge as far as I saw). i plan on using them to make one myself as well 🙂

I used Adoramapix for mine, and I absolutely love mine! The pages are nice and thick, and lie flat.

Thanks for your replies!
@BrooklynBride10, what type of pen or marker did you use? Did it smudge?

We used Photobook Canada (they have an American counterpart, Photobook USA I believe). They use a special linen-type paper for photo guest books. I haven’t tried it out yet for the smudge test, but it’s not shiny or anything, so I don’t see why we would have any issues with it. I love ours, the quality is great!
